A permanent and predictable way to replace a lost tooth
In the unfortunate event that a tooth needs to be extracted, we always recommend it be replaced to prevent drifting teeth, widening gaps, and increased pressure on the remaining teeth. The gold standard of replacing teeth is now considered a dental implant, a crown on top of titanium anchor that sits within the jaw bone.
In a standard case, the surgery can be done in less than an hour with minimal post-op discomfort. We create a near-sterile environment for each patient and use equipment and biomaterials that are backed up with decades of research.

Every patient’s needs are different, and we tailor a personalized treatment plan accordingly. In the simplest case, the cost can range from $3,500 to $4,000. If multiple teeth need to be replaced, different arrangements are possible to assist with affordability. Payment plans can also be arranged for larger treatment options so we can ensure every patient has a chance to improve their oral health with the best we can offer.

Dental bridge: This is a simple way to replace a tooth that uses the two adjacent teeth to anchor two crowns splinted with a false tooth. First, the adjacent teeth are trimmed down to create space for the strong ceramic material. The bridge is then made by a dental lab, and it can be cemented with the tooth replaced within two weeks. A dental bridge is heavily reliant on the adjacent teeth, which means if a cavity happens around one tooth, the entire bridge would need to be removed and replaced to treat the tooth. If you have a high risk for decay, this can become costly over time as well as compromising the good adjacent teeth. Generally, a bridge can cost approximately $3,300-3,500 to replace one tooth.
Partial denture: This is a removable option that clasps false teeth onto your natural teeth. It is the most affordable option that can replace multiple teeth with one plate; however, it can be the least comfortable and can slowly compromise the natural teeth being clasped by placing added pressure on them. We would refer you to our trusted denturist for this treatment, which can cost approximately $1,500-2,000 per arch.

First, we will complete a 3D imaging scan to assess the bone levels around the missing tooth site. This will allow us to plan exactly where the implant needs to be to have the best long-term outcome. The next visit will be the day of surgery, where we will place the implant into the jaw bone. A concurrent bone graft may be done at the same time if needed to build up extra support around the site. This appointment can be 1-2 hours long depending on the case. After this, there is usually a 3-month integrating time to allow the bone cells to adhere and grow onto the implant surface. Then the custom-made crown is placed on the implant, held in place with a prosthetic screw and then sealed up. You can now smile, eat and chew like you were able to before.

Dental implants have a wide range of uses that can improve your quality of life. An implant can replace a single tooth, multiple teeth (implant bridge), or even a complete set of teeth (fixed full arch implants). It can also help keep an existing denture firmly in place by anchoring it directly to the jaw instead of clasping the adjacent teeth. This improves the comfort and fit of a denture tremendously.
